Question

I have about 7 Gg of files around 13,000 in photos but many of them have tags/ keywords. I had done my searches and tried out different software but still need help finding something where I can just do this at once. I want to remove all tags/ keywords on my photos so i can start over.

anyone have some suggestions.

I have tried picasa, ACDsee Pro and both do not do what I need.

Just select all the files in Windows Explorer and choose "Remove Properties" from Organize button in Explorer (Windows 7 or Vista) or from the Ribbon.

Just select all the files in Windows Explorer and choose "Remove Properties" from Organize button in Explorer (Windows 7 or Vista) or from the Ribbon.

But this would remove all the Exif right. I do not want to remove all of it. Just keywords/ tags that have been added. Camera data can stay.

Xnview has a clean metadata option in its batch processing, maybe that will work for you.

It gives you the option to remove selective tags:
