Disappeared emails, Outlook 2003

My boss wanted to re-send an email, so dragged it from his sent items onto his inbox (I know this isn't were he should have dropped it), and it disappeared. Does anyone know where it might have ended up? We have looked through all the folders in Outlook and cannot see it anywhere.

He is using Office Outlook 2003.

Strange. I've just recreated the scenario and now can't find my email either! Does it fall in to a black hole or something?

EDIT: Found it! It's located under my inbox. Try doing a search for messages from your user rather than from whomever he was trying to email.

The email was from about 20 days ago, so i'm not sure if he hadn't looked back far enough after he had moved it, or if it wasn't there until we search for it.
