I saw it, then it just vanished on refresh......... :s
Good to know I'm not going crazy. I'm on my phone now and posted that from my PC. I thought maybe I was wrong and it didn't go through or something. So that's weird ...

Unless there's some sort of warning that was given out due the nature of your posts, I'd say just repost. Could be the forums messing up.

Hmm glad it wasn't me. I've asked for someone to look into this as that's not cool. That's my last public post though since I don't want to go OT on this.

That said the site has had some very off the wall tabloid style stories and has known 'unusual' writers that even Fox News has trouble taking seriously.

hahaha Conspiracy theories. This is VERY real world issue. get a grip! I provided a news source. layoff it is an issue as per law goes and is an issue that is international as the IP and proxy server was in Pakistan. so this is legit to both real world issue AND political issue. either way

A "source" that seriously suggests that the "Bible code predicts Romney winning" is not a serious news source.

It wasn't me. I believe in that if someone has an opinion or view contrary to mine, they have every right to express it.

Well you wouldn't have the ability to delete posts anyways. I figured it wasn't you. :)

Perhaps those who had their posts deleted can repost them?

For the sake of Neowin's neutrality, I do hope that mods are not deleting posts that challenge their political idelology.

Okay okay it was me. I deleted the posts.

Okay, no I didn't. But I hope it was a mistake because even though Neowin is a dictatorship, I hope free speech has SOME value here. Even if the speech is viewed as unpopular.

You know who did it--
Obama,
since he said "I AM THE PRESIDENT AND THE BUCK STOPS HERE!"
(I know he didn't delete the post)

I love free speech though it would be nice to debate things like the pro's and con's of Privatizing FEMA without someone saying - NO NO NO because Romney suggested it. Or flaming at me instead of actually talking about the topic
there are some Pro's and Con's to it
Pro-
There will be accountability to the Better Business Bureau
Companies will go out seeking people to help instead of waiting on the GOV and State approval.
If they don't do a good job they don't get paid instead of what happened to Katrina where nothing happened and they still got paid for doing nothing.
There will be more than just one company looking to help people which means better service...

BUT MOST OF ALL

JOBS
plus Colleges training people for this work.
Con's
that it will no longer be under the control of the Government Agency instead - only to pay for quality services rendered
No one will get paid to sit on their bottoms while people suffer.

But you know most people won't listen to that instead shut it down because of where the idea came from instead of actually debating it.

Hahahaha!! It's Obamas fault.

But on topic, I agree with you. People only flame instead of talking about the actual problem and it's a real issue. It sucks because it means we will never get things done. I love to debate, I honestly do, and I can admit when I am wrong, but sometimes I don't even bother because the conversation will get derailed anyway.

I agree. I don't mind debating but I refuse to respond to people who seem to be intent on starting a flame war.
