Hi. I am new to Arch Linux and I just installed Arch Linux on my notebook. I found that the beginner's guide mentioned that 2MB partition is required if I wanted to setup GRUB on GPT-partitioned drive. I did what the guide said, but the remaining parts of the guide didn't mention the 2MB partition anymore (not mentioned in mkfs, fstab, mount, etc.). So my question is: How do GRUB make use of the partition? Do GRUB recognize the 2MB partition automatically when I run grub-install or grub-mkconfig?
