Greetings people of Neowin...

As of 6:00 PM on 11/01/2012 I am a proud owner of a Canon T4i. I have always wanted to do videography and photography as a hobby.
That time has come. And I wish to seek help from SLR owner of neowin on going about picking a good mic to go with my SLR.

Budget is in the +/- $100 USD range. Any decent mic that will isolate / minimize background noise will do.
