Hi guys, I've decided to abandon my desktop as I've always had one and now its past the point of upgrading so I've decided to buy a good laptop.

I'm looking for a laptop that is future proof such as blu ray drive, usb 3.0 support, 64 bit system, What or where shall I look as I am an amateur when it comes to laptops. My first obvious place to look for one is on Dell as I bought my mrs one from there a couple years ago and it's still quite good. I'm looking for around a 17" screen also as it will mainly be used at my desk at home anyway.

Thanks for any help in advance (Y)

Well I don't know your price range but the top ones in my opinion are the HP Envy 17 and Samsung Series 7.

HP Envy 17 - http://www.shopping....2nr-Notebook-PC
Samsung Series 7 - http://www.samsung.c.../NP700Z7C-S01US

Look on ebuyer.com or scan.co.uk

ASUS or Acer are my top two.
