not sure about the official rom as i think that TouchWiz is a bit too bloaty for me however, I have been running JellyBean on my VZW GS3 for a few months now and it has never been slow in fact I find that the phone is quicker. I am running CM10 with Android 4.1.2 at the moment. The phone is very smooth and cannot complain about anything on it at the moment.

If at all possible when things are running slow after an update like that it might be worth it to run a system restore (bring it back to factory) might have just been a few services not functioning right after the upgrade.

so I just got my S3 this weekend, and REALLY want to give Cyanogen Mod a try, but my questions are.. If I get Cyanogen Mod 10 for the S3, is there anyway to get the Samsung keyboard with swype? I LOVE the keyboard layout on the samsung keyboard and I want the extra swype type feature it has. Also what about the weather widget. I have to have a weather widget on my homescreen and I don't know of a good one honestly.

Had a friend update his Galaxy 3 to Jelly Bean and hes finding it slower, Ive googled and quite a lot people are having the same problem.

Samsung are aware and a fix is in the works.

Dont want you people hating your phones, so hang on to Ice Cream Sandwich.

that's just one of the few people with issues. these are not wide spread issues.

there is always factory reset to fix them.

I don't know what your friend is running... JB is working great (and faster/smoother) here as well as for thousands of users at XDA.... pretty much every custom ROM is JB now because it's so popular??

Not had an issue with it here, had it quite a while now as an official OTA update.
