That's outrageous. Geez. I'm not blaming the zoo because obviously the mother is stupid for this, but they should have more than rails, at the least 6 foot fences around dangerous animals, it obviously is necessary to mitigate against the stupidity of the honey boo boo generation.
Maybe they should have some kind of wild animal inside, a vicious one, that would attack anyone who jumped into the exibit. It would serve as a deterrent for these kinds of situations. An 11ft drop separating them is clearly not enough

You know, crap happens. Sometimes it's not that someone was stupid or anything like it.

Putting your kid up on a railing where if they tip they fall into a cage with deadly animals?

No...sorry, but that's stupidity. You don't put your child on the edge of something where if they fall it's an 11 foot drop into a pit of wild dogs.

I hate fences, It ruins watching. Now the zoo will be blamed. Every animal in the zoo is considered dangerous except at the petting zoo. They are WILD animals. big fences are not needed since they are only the size of regular dogs. This could give people a great view to watch them. Fences make it harder to take photos, I much rather have railings.

Time to sue the zoo. They should have made the fence higher. I didn't know fences weren't stepping stools.
Sad but this is what will happen. She will sue. And now the zoo will have to spend tons of money to put higher fences ruining the view of thousands of viewer because of one stupid mother made a mistake.

Don't get me wrong fellas, the rail and knowledge of wild dogs in there, should be MORE than enough. But considering how stupid some people are, and that you can't pre-emptively remove their children (or even know how stupid they are all the time), as this case illustrates, I think they should probably put fences around such animals. If it was just the woman that fell in because she sat herself there, then I wouldn't even think about it, but when these imbeciles have small children it's a different matter unfortunately. Hearing of innocent and helpless people getting hurt just really ****es me off..
