Tablets don't have more than one screen. As a result, "Metro" only supports one screen. Once you remember that Metro = Tablet (but can run on PC) you'll start to see it all clearly.

There are an handful of dual-screen tablets, and you can connect Suface to a second screen via HDMI, so that argument doesn't hold water.

If it doesn't hold water, explain to me why Metro has zero support for multiple screens?

I don't have an explanation, I don't make the decisions at Microsoft. I'm just pointing out that "Tablets don't have more than one screen" is a false statement.

some android tablets have dual screen, and some "tablets" with windows 7 have it.

what do they have in common, they don't run windows 8. and dual screen tablets is minority, probably less then 1%.
