Woman donates liver to ex-husband, remarries him

In China, two months after Su Dan's divorce was finalized, her ex-husband Tian Xinding was diagnosed with liver cancer.

Tian avoided a long donor wait list when his ex-wife, an organ match, generously offered to donate part of her liver to him.

However, in China, organ transplants among couples are only approved for those that are married.

So, Su and Tian first renewed their wedding vows, then underwent a successful 10-hour liver transplant surgery.
