Just got an update on my surface for Xbox music. So far just messing around with listening to music, no more random stutters when switching tracks at this point. Hope Ms keeps on updating/fixing at this pace!

If you live in a market that current doesn't have access to xbox music pass than the music app is even more basic, it'll just show you collect and give you the player controls etc. It's like half the app compared to those living in the US etc who get Xbox Music as a service. MS better step up their licensing game and get this and Videos out to more countries. I'm tired of missing out on half the services due to copyrights and all that BS.

dude have you tried switching your country to the US under control panel -> Language-> 'change date, time, or number formats' -> 'location' tab-> 'home location'?

i live in Canada (we do get the Xbox music service) and since I've switchedmy home location to the US I've been able to access the US Windows store

I access the store fine, I can get apps and games etc, I'm talking about Xbox Music Pass and any Xbox Videos. Those check my Microsoft ID which is also my Xbox Live ID and is in Greece. If I change my OS locale etc it won't sign into those services till I change it to the same locale my live account is.

wierd. my xbox live/microsoft ID is set to canada and it will still sign me in when i have my local set to US. and the xbox music pass and xbox videos are available to canada, so i haven't noticed a difference there

the only reason i changed my local to US was because there are apps that i can't download/see from the windows store if it's set to canada.

i do agree that this whole copyright limiting outside the US is total BS. it only promotes piracy and doesn't solve the issue.
