Skyfall is (almost) here! Celebrate 50 years of 007 with our infographic

Blond or not, Bond looks good for 50. Ian Fleming's secret agent man celebrates half a century on the big screen and that includes countless gadgets, hundreds of villains, multiple Bond Girls, many martinis and tons of well-fitted suits.

A franchise this successful has naturally spawned imitators, homages and parodies but there's only one James Bond, with ruggedly handsome Daniel Craig as the latest, and some would say best, actor to step into the covetable wardrobe previously warn by Sean Connery, Roger Moore, George Lazenby, Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan.

On the cusp of the theatrical release of Skyfall, the 23rd movie in the Bond universe, we're taking a look back at the first 50 years of Bond, from soundtracks to sirens, Connery to Craig, Live and Let Die to Die Another Day.

Pierce Brosnan was in my opinion the most elegant and well suited James Bond.

Would have liked more Bond films with Timothy Dalton IMO.

So, as you know, they are calling Skyfall the 23rd Bond film, when technically there are 24, even though Never Say Never Again was a remake of Thunderball!
