5 years and above.

My computer was built in October 2007, although I upgraded it in January 2010. I upgraded the processor to a Q6600 (which was made in 2007 anyway), the graphics card (ATI Radeon HD 5770), and an additional 4GB of RAM was added. So, with the exception of 4GB of the 6GB of RAM, and the graphics card (which were bought new), everything is from 2007.

I dual boot Windows 8 on a 2008 MacBook Pro (pre-unibody model). Runs like a dream. Will be getting a Surface Pro on day one, hopefully.

About 6 years old. It's an old core2duo based box with 2GB ram. Works with windows 8 fine.

HP dv6z laptop from 2010.

AMD Turion II M520, 4GB, 320GB HDD, ATI 4200 IGP

It runs reasonably well though I've run into some graphics driver issues, most apps running better with the reference drivers shipping with Windows rather than the legacy ones released by AMD.
