Average stupidity

Definition of what is stupid varies by person. People tend to like such because they think it elevates themselves above the definition of stupid.

Other than that - it's completely true. George Carlin was a genius.

I used to have this great book that had many different interesting surveys, like how many people don't like Ice Cream and what most people say when you ask where Mexico is, etc.

The one that I found most interesting was this question: "Who is the smartest person in your family"? Most popular answer, their Father. Second most popular answer, themselves. Of course, not everyone can be the second smartest person in their family.

Most people tend to think that they're smarter than they truly are, and that almost everyone else is a little dumber than they truly are. The more true that is for a person, the more they focus on other's mistakes and ineptness and dismiss and/or excuse their own in attempts to reinforce their weakened feelings of self worth. It's the nature of the ego.

There was a line in Smokey and the Bandit, made a reference to how stupid a person is in regards to where they're from.

Mostly I used to think of it as different hobbies, interests, taste in cultures etc...
