3D on Virtual Machine

Question

I have Windows 8 and Call of Duty 2 isn't working properly. What I thought is to use a virtual machine with Windows XP to play Call of Duty 2. How can I have FULL 3D advantage over the virtual machine and which vm software should I use?

I think the reason why you can't play CoD is that your drivers isn't updated Use a tool such as Ma-Config to find the drivers you need for Windows 8. If you can't find any Windows 8 driver, use windows 7 driver, they should work fine.

I have just tried virtualbox, well... The game works but it's slow. Mouse is laggy and I can only achieve ~120 fps whereas outside virtual machine I can achieve more than 600 fps.

@link6155 I have the latest Windows 8 drivers.

Thanks anyway !
