Also got CDE on here too which I need to get round to removing at some point haha. And aye, needs changing to work with arch; ./stats.sh: line 26: yum: command not found OS: Hostname: H3K-Main Total RAM: 5973 Mb Desktop Enviroment: Gnome 3.6.1 No. Installed Packages: 0 Logged in as: mrnk Kernel: 3.6.6-1-ARCH Screenshot being taken.....Smile!! Haggis Veteran Posted November 24, 2012 Author Veteran Share Posted November 24, 2012 arch seems to be the only distro with nothing in the /etc/*-release folder
+Majesticmerc MVC Posted November 25, 2012 MVC Share Posted November 25, 2012 I suspect I know the answer already, but why take a screenshot? If I wanted to save the output I could just pipe pipe stdout to a file. (not that I want to take anything away from your script, this could actually be a pretty useful package if you could get it working cross platform). Haggis Veteran Posted November 25, 2012 Author Veteran Share Posted November 25, 2012 it started off as just a screenshot script but the more i work on it the more it turning into a cross distro script lol
