My Neowin rating went to star fairly quickly after the rating were introduced.

I always try to make as helpful/insightful posts as possible but figured that I must have posted a few too many political opinions in the RWI that others didn't agree with to get only . I thought I would be a star member forever.

I would like to thank everyone (or anyone) who gave me a star greater than one to counteract this one star curse (or maybe you gave me 2 stars by accident). In any case, I really appreciate it. Now when others view my profile they will think that I am not a *completely* useless member. I think that the ratings and likes are important because it is based on quality not quantity.

I will probably get a bunch of 1 star ratings for making this Milestone thread, but at least I have made a screenshot to remember it in case it is short lived.

By a strange co-incidence I just noticed from this that I am also now a 10-year Neowin member, and I've actually been active in all those years trying to help other members and learning quite a bit on the way.

Here's to another 10 years and in celebration of this momentous achievement I will be giving out ratings to anyone who is decent enough to appreciate my achievement by making a reply, as I know that ratings are hard to come by when they are tucked away in your profile
