Getting toast out with a knife or fork, Dangerous?

Everyone seems to think it's the toasters fault. Has nothing to do with the toaster, it's the bread.
Some bread is thicker than others, sometimes the bread has a bend in it, etc. etc.
Well sometimes the piece of bread is also too small and people don't realize till it's done and it's no where near the top or it slipped down the grate at the bottom, or it just simply got stuck. Either way, it was the bread or human error that did it, not the toaster.
And about getting shocked, personally I highly doubt you'll get a shock from it whether it's on or off.

I've never had to do this, my toaster pushes the toast out with so much force it literally jumps out the top on when it's done.
