How to make PC spit out hot air?

Recommended Posts

Obviously I close it when he goes away but he opens it AGAIN.

The topic was warming the PC so it blows out hot air. The reason really should be irrelevant...

If you don't have anything to contribute to the topic, why waste time on your life posting in this thread? (No offense but) Do you guys really have nothing better to do with your lives?

Sounds like you've got all the hot air you need in the office. And no, I'm not talking about the guy you work with.

I actually use to do something like this years ago when working in a warehouse, i cant stand having cold feet!

Best way was to remove the fan from the CPU heatsink to let it act like a radiator, then the exhaust fan blows out the nice warm air.

Yes, this is probably a fire risk and i do not recommend it. It did the job though! and the PC lasted through all of winter... almost. Till it died. Then i bought a heater :p

put some socks on

dip your feet in Petrol and set them on fire

it wont burn your feet right away as it burns the vapours not the liquid

WIN! WIN!

Get a Door Closer installed

It's a workplace Occupational Health and Safety issue so it should be no problem in getting one installed. It would also save your workplace from a huge electricity bill from running PCs hot/Electric Heaters more than necessary.

Otherwise...

Loving your attitude. Perhaps if you don't want feedback you shouldn't start a thread.

Dude, I told you exactly how to get it installed:

Step 1. Approach your manager to speak with him

Step 2. Tell him about the cold air coming in from the door making ypu extremely cold.

Step 3. Tell him "It's a workplace Occupational Health and Safety issue"

Step 4. Request that a door closer be installed (or the workmate be made to close the door after him by a higher authority.)

Step 5. Also say "It would also save your workplace from a huge electricity bill from running PCs hot/Electric Heaters more than necessary"

Step 6. The manager will handle all the particulars of getting it done.

If your manager is not going to do anything, then that workplace is not worth working for, and you should look for a new job who will take your safety seriously. Then again, if you can't even man up to speak to your own manager thrn maybe you belong there.
