so I was interested in using Plex again for the ocassions when I want to watch something that's not synched to my iPhone.
You know, TV shows and movies, nothing more.
Especially helpful when at a friend's place to have all your library with you
So I ponder whether the play count and the "started watching" marker for the position how far into the movie/show you are actually gets updated in your iTunes library.
I couldn't care less about Plex's play markers, as I only want to use the server on my Mac for on-the-go needs.
iTunes + the Remote app got me covered at home.
