TPreston Posted November 23, 2012 Share Posted November 23, 2012 The FBI has charged a female American anti-gay conservative Christian lawyer who allegedly drove a 14-year-old girl to Canada and forced her have sex on camera. Lisa Biron, 43, was arrested last week and indicted on seven counts of child exploitation, including transportation of a child for illegal sexual conduct, and manufacturing and possessing child pornography, the FBI said in a news release. The New Hampshire woman is said to be associated with the Alliance Defending Freedom, which describes itself on its website as a "legal ministry" dedicated to spreading the gospel "by transforming the legal system and advocating for religious liberty, the sanctity of life and marriage and family." Biron was previously arrested in October for possession of child porn. She was in court Nov. 16 for a hearing on those charges when she was taken into custody for the second time, reports the Concord Monitor. Reddit is by and large a "democratic" site, so you aren't getting the whole picture there. When a Republican <anything> get caught Reddit jumps all over it, when a Democrat <anything> get caught to gets down voted into oblivion. Not to mention Reddit is a quickly becoming a high school hang out that giggles, points and up votes when anything remotely sexy, gay, or when something goes "full retard". Romney wasn't the issue, it was Paul Ryan in concert with cranks like Richard Mourdock and Todd Akin which scared the crap out of people. I mean, come on, if you took Paul Ryan out of the equation then all the issues relating to Bain Capital or changing his position could easily be sorted out with a good media campaign. When you couple Romney's changing his mind with Paul Ryan's crack pot ideas regarding abortion etc. then it has nothing to do with flip-flopping per se but the combination of factors that scared the crap out of a good section of the electorate. And funny when Bush received 50.7% of the popular vote in 2004 all I heard was Republicans crowing about how they have a mandate. African American on the other hand isn't a choice and thus should be protected just as ones gender and sexual orientation should be protected. If you're going to class a religious belief as protected then you might as well say that all opinions are valid and screw any facts that may say differently because god forbid those annoying facts get in the way of a good hand hold hippy love fest. That's really the best reason I have, I haven't voted in a few election cycles and politics ranks as high to me as watching ice skating on TV. I loathe politics and the ugliness it brings out in people (both sides of the aisle). The front page is all I really have time for, I don't spend enough time there digging through subs hunting for "well thought out posts" on any subject. I know they are there but, the overall tone and quality of Reddit has declined greatly as the age of the majority of their users sinks into the younger age brackets. While, I probably glossed over the quality of Reddit, you do the same ignoring the fact that the "lowest common denominator" is taking over a once good site. Guess we'll just have to disagree on the quality of Reddit. As for the rest, don't really care, Politics is a nasty **** hole that needs to be flushed and flushed more often.
