Darkmiss
I have the Stealseries 9HD and i find it a great mousepad. It is very tough and hard wearing. it has a reflective surface for maximum optical or laser pickup. and for me its just the right size, not too small or overly large. It's also very thin and not spongy feeling at all. I Highly recomend.
Mindovermaster Moderator Posted November 23, 2012 Moderator Share Posted November 23, 2012 I always used XTracpads, but my friends did have a Stealseries 9HD and he was happy, so get what you like.
+E.Worm Jimmy Subscriber¹ Posted November 23, 2012 Subscriber¹ Share Posted November 23, 2012 Steelseries 9HD is amazing. I have it and it is my favorite. virtually indestructible too. i'd stay away from the oversized and ugly cloth pad.
Anibal P
I have a Qck+ and it's probably the best mouse pad I've ever used, I find that the larger the better when gaming so I don't run off the pad by accident
Willy Sarahan
Thanks guys So what i`ve heard about laser mouses like my G9X goes better with hard surfaces is not a true? It`s interesting that we have a lot of opinios here, nioce to hear all of then I`ll play FPS games with this G9x + the mousepad i`ll select Thanks
chconline Veteran Posted November 23, 2012 Veteran Share Posted November 23, 2012 It doesn't matter. It really depends on your preferences. Cloth pads have higher friction and harder to clean, but it is more comfortable and offers better mouse control. Hard pads are easier to clean, more durable, and glides a little better, but not as comfortable.

I can't stand touching them or the feeling of moving the mouse over them. I only like hard pads and the smoother the better; I wish I had one made out of glass. The prices for mouse pads are insane though so I just make my own.

BillyJack
I have the Logitech G9x and SteelSeries NP+ which as far as I know is the same as Qck heavy but thinner. I have had it for two to three years and it is clean and I have no problems. I like the cloth and soft feel. My mouse glides smooth and the pad does not fold or ripple with mouse movement. If you do not care about material then maybe you want to find some performance comparisons between the two mouse pads.

The cloth material i think is better for my arm, that hurts a lot when i spend lot of time in the pc BillyJack 1 Share
