OK I bought my new Canon iP7250 yesterday and it arrived in the post this morning, I opened the box and noticed it has a new type of cartridge, I cannot find any compatible cartridges anywhere or any site talking about Canon's new cartridges. Am I right in asuming that because these cartridges are new that's why no one else is making an equiverlent, or could Canon be atempting to lock out thirt part inks because if that is the case, I may as well send this back now.

I had the same problem with my Canon MP640 when I first it was first purchased, it took about 6 to 7 months before I saw any 3rd party carts for it. I would guess it will be the same with yours, of course they need to sell enough of them to make it worthwhile for the 3rd party companies to make them.
