Interlace GIF images in Photoscape?

Question

I used to use a graphics prog on my XP machine called PhotoImpact by Ulead that I really liked mainly because I had gotten used to it and had learned how to navigate it to do what I needed to do.

Now that I've moved up to Win 7 64bit, I've grown to like Photoscape pretty good as I'm starting to understand how to use this prog to do most of what I need to... except for one thing.... make Interlaced GIF images

Anybody know how to do that in Photoscape? If not, does anyone know if GIMP can do this?

If none of those, is there an online source to upload a GIF to make it interlaced, or is there some other free program that can do this?

Just thought I'd ask the resident experts on the board here...

Thanx... but, I got to reading last night about Corel Photo Suite X5 (they are the company that bought out Ulead that made Photoscape that I liked so much)...and they were having some sort of special sale for Monday's cyber something er'other...

So, for $59.00 I got Corel Photo Suite X5, and Corel Video Suite X5 in a package deal that would normally have been about $160 for the pair.

It has photo optimization, and I need to learn how to do some video to make demonstration video for work... Corel is supposed to be pretty good, so this wasn't too bad for the price.

At least it's for business use so I can write it off me taxes!
