I've been looking at these items for the past few days. I saw these Razer BlackShark headphones while researching the Razer BlackWidow mechanical keyboard, and became instantly hooked. They are Battlefield 3 branded, but i love the orange on blue color theme. They just look awesome, and most of the reviews say they're good.

I know its overpriced, but meh.

I was going to order these with the Razer Black Widow Ultimate 2013, but that key board was still $130, and i didn't really like the greed backlight. I saw the BlackWidow Ultimate Battlefield 3 branded version a few days ago, but it was the same price as the Ultimate 2013, and its not as new. I think the Bf3 version is a mix between the original and maybe the 2013 version, i dont know.

I was going to order these both on NewEgg, which is the site i use for almost all my orders. Put a few $Thousand through them in the past few years.

I decided to check shipping charges on TigerDirect, To see if the keyboard would be cheaper buying from them. The shipping charges are cheaper there, heck that keyboard on TigerDirect has free shipping today only (it says). But then i saw the BlackWidow BF3 collectors edition on there for only $79 TODAY ONLY! Normally $130 on each site, (newegg, amazon, tigerdirect, etc).

So i went ahead and ordered the BlackShark headphones from Newegg with 2 day shipping (plus $2.99 rush processing, i know it doesnt matter, i've always had the same results using it as i did without, but blackfriday must be keeping them busy, so i decided to go ahead :p ), and the Bf3 BlackWidow Keyboard from Tigerdirect, with 2 day shipping.

They both already changed my card, and both are estimating the same day delivery. So we'll see which one is faster.

I really can't wait to get the headphones.

The only thing im scared about is as soon as i ordered the blacksharks, the newegg page for them marked them as out of stock, so maybe i got lucky and got the last pair.

Can't wait, but its also interested to see which site is going to be faster. I've never used TigerDirect due to Newegg always being great to me.

So what do you guys think about the shipping and arrival time? Wanna make bets? LOL, Do you think the tigerdirect ones will be held up weeks due to processing all the blackfriday stuff, or the newegg headphones will be cancelled due to being out of stock? Or both items will arrive by Wednesday?

For where I live, 90% of the things I order from Newegg show up within 2-3 days of ordering, as long as I order it before lunch time Wednesday, I usually have it by Friday (for example). But only if they have that item at the nearest facility (in my case, Tn). TigerDirect doesn't have any facilities anywhere close to me, so they always take longer.

I just order small things from newegg but get whole systems at microcenter... it's 2.5 hrs away and gives me an excuse to get out of the house and go on a road trip!!!

I bought my whole system there and I got it for 200 bucks less then I would have at newegg with better RAM and better CPU!!!

I got the last antec modular PSU that was under 100USD!!!

It all depends where you are vs where the warehouse is. I know that Tigerdirect's main warehouse is in Chicago. I live over the border from there. I get orders next day on a 3-5 day shipping.

I think the Newegg warehouses are in Caalifornia and New Jersey.

this.
For me it's Tiger Direct.
However my last several purchases from Newegg have been slower than normal. My last one I paid extra for 2 day delivery and I didn't get it until the 6th business day. I emailed Newegg and they never did refund me the difference. I think they have gotten too big. I'm on my last nerve with them and been looking elsewhere for same prices or cheaper. From now on i'm only buying from them if the price is worth it compared to anyone else.

Im in Kansas, so the middle of the country pretty much.

NewEgg's status is already in "Packaging", while TigerDirect is on "Unable to get requested information. Please try again later."
ha.

Alot of my orders seem to be shipped from Memphis when i order from NewEgg. So they must have a warehouse there too.

I've ordered many big things from newegg, such as 2 27" led monitors, and such, which took the same processing time as the sata cable i got once, and psu's. So to me they are quick no matter what.

The only thing i'm really worried about is all this black friday/cyber monday crap slowing it down.

Normal days i wouldn't be surprised if UPS picked the stuff up by 8am the next morning.

Keeping my fingers crossed about TigerDirect, but i think i'll get the NewEgg item days before TD's. but we'll see.

Well so far Td is ahead, i already got shipping info from them with the estimated day being Wednesday, 2nd air ups.
while newegg is still stuck on "packaging", disappointed, but i read online that it's sometimes stuck on this, and only later find out it shipped hours earlier.

I think Processors are consistently much cheaper on Microcenter compared to Newegg. (My experience when I built one last year).

i never had the problem, but i bet you both come on wednesday. i'd be shocked if newegg let me down, But i'm still worried since it went instantly to out of stock after i paid. so im worried they thought they ahd more than they actually did, or cant find it, or something.
but their system should be all computerized and automated (machines storing stuff in the warehouse and retrieving) so it should be fine.. i hope.

Man i love ordering stuff online, fun waiting for it to come lol

is microcenter a big online store? or do they just do parts?

I've never heard of them.

I usually go Amazon over NewEgg as the shipping is predictable and fast. NewEgg is very spotty so I don't deal with them unless I have to (and I work to keep that as far down the line as possible).

Their free shipping is a mess. They do the stupid thing of handing it off to DHL/FedEx who then hand it off to the USPS. So a package from their NJ warehouse which is literally next door to me in Philadelphia will take 5+ days when the USPS would have done it in 1. Stupid stuff like that make me skip them.

Has been the case for a long time now :). What I also love about MicroCenter is they will match any Amazon or NewEgg price.

I looked at stuff on amazon, but alot of the items i wanted ship from third party warehouses, which i don't want to deal with. Also they charge tax in Kansas. Which adds another $10-$20 sometimes. On TD or NewEgg i can use that money im saving from not having to pay taxes to get faster shipping.

Never had a problem with shipping from Newegg though, usually get stuff the next or 2nd day.

Yea I only do Amazon Prime shipping, so either Amazon or an Amazon reseller who has their product in the Amazon warehouse. Makes the shipping fast and the returns easy.

Amazon charges taxes here too, but I don't factor taxes into my buying decision.

NewEgg shipping is fast if the item is heavy or expensive enough. They have some breakdown as to when their free shipping trips over to being UPS. Since that is from Edison, NJ to Philadelphia, PA it is always the next business day. For me I just don't want the hassle of gambling with their shipping time. I'm also severely turned off by their new "$3 rush processing" charge they encourage you to buy. I expect every order to be processed as quickly as possible. For that same money I can get Next Day treatment from Amazon.

Microcenter has stores and online... like TigerDirect does.
