newegg

Linda: I do apologize for that. Due to holiday season, the order processing may be delayed slightly. Your order is being processed in our warehouse now. Once it is shipped out, you will receive a confirmation email. I will refund the rush order fee to you once your order is shipped out.

TigerDirect wins this time which actually shocks me. usually newegg is great. Didn't expect TD to be better or more prepared...

kinda wanted the headset to be here ASAP lol,

I just ordered my XFX 6870 on last Thursday from them, and it's already on the way, should be here by Thursday, as they probably weren't open on the weekend, or very few people in the warehouse.

man new egg is ****ing me off. Still on packaging. My Tigerdirect package has already left the UPS hub in TN and is on its way here. Should be here tomorrow.

Was going to cancel my NewEgg package and just get the headset from another company such as Amazon who may have their **** together, but the cancel button is now gone :|

NewEgg has always been great for me. Been using them since 2006 and have never had a problem with anything I've recieved or any delays in shipping. Amazon is pretty reliable, as well. Though, they usually ship through USPS which takes them days as they purposely hold items for several days until the scheduled delivery date.

I have ordered things from new egg and gotten them the next morning. I wonder how they can accomplish this. The only thing I can think of is there is a warehouse in the NYC area.

Actually i did. the lady said she'll refund that $3 once it actually sends out.
if it ever does. Annoying how they didn't plan for black friday or cybermonday. Should have people working that weekend since its not a normal weekend.

edit:
Just got ups tracking info, shipping from Edison NJ.

and it says it's shipping NEXT DAY AIR, so it should be here tomorrow? If so Newegg has redeemed themselves, and im happy. lol

Has been the case for a long time now :). What I also love about MicroCenter is they will match any Amazon or NewEgg price.
Didn't know that - thanks for the tip.

This is why I wish we had more brick-n-mortar computer shops we can just buy components from and enjoy em that day instead of this wating-n-shipping BS LOL....

So it was a tie. Got both at the same exact time today. But i gotta give credit to Newegg for slow processing, but correcting it with free one day air shipping, which resolved the delay, have to love them for that.

As for the products, they are both awesome. The keyboard is solid and feels nice to type on. The black light keys are nice.
The headset feels nice, and blocks out alot of outside sound. They sound great, but not as good with music as my cheap $29 Sony headphones do. But maybe i just need to tweak them some, or just get used to them.

Over all super happy with the products, Razer did a great job with both. Also super happy with NewEgg and TigerDirect. NewEgg didn't really shock me though because i always knew they were great, and would some how fix this. Tigerdirect did shock me though because i didn't think they'd be so great, or as good as NewEgg, but they both pretty much tied with eachother due to ordering at the same time, and receiving both orders at the same time.

Happy happy.
