Sooo my laptop battery is pretty much dead, it lasts for about half an hour before saying i need to charge it again..I have an acer aspire 5532 and i was wondering if i could take the battery out and just run it on the power cable? If i do this, will it damage my laptop?

For a more permanent solution, look for another battery to replace the current one with it

Yea it'll be fine, although leaving it in with 30 minutes charge means if you need to quickly unplug it you don't have to shutdown and reboot
