What gloves do you wear?

Recommended Posts

With Winter already upon us for some and coming soon to others. What gloves do you wear? do you have capacitive touch gloves, thin gloves, bulky gloves. do you tie kittens to your hands and bask in their warmth and soft purring?

share with Neowin what gloves you wear to keep your hands toasty while surviving this below freezing global warming we call Winter!

I currently wear a bulky set of gloves I got for free. I am looking to upgrade to a sleeker more professional glove with capacitive touch on it.

oh my god. I want to tie kittens to my hands :o That sounds amazing.

At the moment I have a pretty neat pair though, regular knit/woolly gloves that have a matching, thicker, fingerless set that goes over them. Inside I can just wear the fingerless set alone and it keeps my hands reasonably toasty while still letting me type and etc :D

No gloves, currently. It isn't winter here yet - rain only, no cold. I do carry simple, black knit gloves with me for some reason, but don't wear them. Instead I hide my hands up the sleeves or in pockets of my jacket. Sad posture - a bad habit, I guess.

Edit after a week: yay, snow and cold. Gloves on now.

I've currently gt two pairs of gloves. A leather fur lined pair I use for driving, great for gripping the steering wheel and keeps my hands warm when I'm scrapping the ice off the windows.

Also a pair of conductive woollen gloves. I use these when I'm out and about using my phone.

During summer, winter, any season really I wear Wells Lamont. They are my work gloves, so they keep my hands safe, and warm at the same time. I have about 10 pairs stockpiled considering I wear 'em down pretty quick. They look strange in public, but I wear them there too for warmth. :) Don't have to worry about what gloves I wear now to answer my phone, seeing as how the Lumia 920 can function with any surface touching it. (Shameless advertising right there.)

I wear the Manzella Evolution gloves. They're the most comfortable and warmest pair of gloves I've ever owned and they should be as I paid $50.00 for them.

Depends on the scenario, moreso the mode of transport.

When I'm walking/busing/driving (it can be damn cold in the car in the morning!) I wear a cheap pair from the supermarket, they're thinsulate so they work well.

When cycling I have a pair of chunky waterproof ones that keep my hands warm AND dry when cycling around.
