So, I'm trying to send a picture to my girlfriend. She gets it and its ridiculously tiny and impossible to see. it gets downsized. A LOT. It is a 500x5484px picture. 351Kb. I heard that AT&T has a 600Kb limit on MMS messages... what. the. fragglerock is going on? I tried GOSMS pro and it does the exact same thing.

She has an iPhone 4. However I don't think that is the issue. It happens when I send the exact same image to my friend who has a Galaxy S3. Here are the 2 pictures. The first is the original, the 2nd is obviously what happens to it.

wtf? now these images are resized.. Even though I've posted them both from my computer... yet the original is the right dimensions on my pc. As you can see the file sizes are different

It's most likely the carrier that's causing the issue probably due to the odd height. I would break the image up into 3 or 4 different images and try that.

The problem has happened in the past, but I never really paid attention because the pictures were never this tall. Should I call AT&T? Can they fix it on their end?

Even if they could, I doubt they would. The only time I've ever had this issue was when I was trying to send an extremely large image. I ended up resizing it and then sending it. Have someone send you the original image and see what happens. Preferably one of the folks you're trying to send it to.

They might. I had some billing issues recently and they took 675$ off. My bill is normally 120$, and I got the bill this month for 790$ due to changing my phone and cancelling a line that was under 'Buyers Remorse' still.

Lol as much as we love to think our money matters, it doesn't. If the issue is due to the way their MMS services are setup, they are not going to fix it...just for you

Regardless, if other images are going through fine and this oddly sized one is the only one that isn't, I would very surprised if they even bothered to troubleshoot it.

I honestly believe it is the dimensions of the photo. It is really long. I personally doubt it is the carrier.
