Thanks mate :)

It's Gnome 2x with my custom MacOS theme. Conky for the system stats, weather, Calendar etc, CoverGloobus for the Music cover you see on the screen, Avant Window Navigator (AWN) for the panel on the left with text icons I threw together and the dock at the bottom is Cairo Dock with OpenGL hardware acceleration. The file manager is Nautilus Elementary, patched to support Finder style toolbuttons :)

Is there any way you can provide a link to your custom theme elements and wallpaper? I would like to apply this on my system if it is possible :)

Your best bet is to download this theme by DG09, I was inspired by his modding myself and that's how I got started :)

Apply it and work your way around, it's pretty easy once you get the hang of it. You'll need to be on Gnome 2x and you'll also need Nautilus Elementary and Emerald for this to work. And here's the wallpaper I used.

So it's been a while since I've uploaded any screenshots.
After arguing with Ubuntu and Lubuntu, finally I've moved on to Mint using cinnamon with a nice fresh install today. So far I'm impressed and my PC seems to playing nicely.

Not changed much since the install.

Don't know what it is, but I've always thought everything always looked better, cleaner, crisper in Linux, with no graphics tweaking needed. Exactly why I've always kept a computer or 2 around here running some variant of it.

I haven't really toyed with Unity for about a year. It's grown on me. I like it. Think I'll keep it for a bit and see how she feels after some time with normal use...

I put them all in a folder and created a tar.gz file if anyone wants it: HERE
