When I was a child and we had a slow combustion stove, yes. We used to fire it up and open the oven door to heat the kitchen! :D

Not in an electric or gas oven though.

I only do that when warming my dinner in the dryer....which is never.

No. But I have taken wet shoes and put them in front of the oven that I had open before.

No. I've had to dry my clothes once while my drying machine was unavailable and I didn't think of putting them in my oven.

no but i've dried socks in the microwave....have to be careful not to burn them :laugh:

I was a university student so yes I have. Partying all night and needing to dry your clothes before class. Boom oven
