Do these items magically make up for the fact that DAII rehashes the same map for 10-50 times?

Now that's awesome! I mean, it's ok to have promo in-game items, but in contrary to actual exclusive stuff, these items should be available later in some other way. And now they are.

Though these items do make one considerably overpowered, especially in DA2 it often feels like having dropped from Normal to Easy and from Easy to Maker-have-mercy-on-them
