Women outraged when waiter brings check calling them 'Fat Girls'

Recommended Posts

Those girls are NOT BBW's in my opinion.

I would agree with that, but it really doesn't matter in this particular case. I have friends to have huge wives and they treat them like crap. That's why I believe they have them. Some guys have issues and like to exercise them by preying on the weak or those perceived weak in society. I would not want this dude near women or children of any size without supervision tbh.

It just wasn't his place or his job to do that, and he just couldn't help himself. Maybe he has erectile dysfunction, maybe his momma didn't breast feed him enough.

You should write a book and make millions telling everyone how easy it is. Be sure to send those women a free copy and a thank you. LOL.

It's not easy, that's the problem. You can't expect to loose weight without changing your lifestyle, and most people don't want to change their lifestyle. They just want to loose weight fast without having to give up the things they like. That's why there are so many books about the subject that are all bull****. While the rules can be written in 4 lines:

- eat healthy, that means giving up a lot of stuff you like to eat completely (if you don't have selfcontrol) or only eat them in small portions

- sport, you don't have to be an outstanding athlete, but at least use your bike to go to work or if you go shopping. You don't need an expensive fitness subscription to go running twice or three times a week

- drink water instead of whatever you are drinking that is filled with sugars. Smoothies and fruit drinks are most of the times worse than soft drinks

- most importantly: even if you do all of the above, don't expect to be thin in a matter of weeks, it will take a long long time before you are in shape again and you'll probably give up halfway.

Just following those three rules would solve the problem for 99% (yes that number is completely made up) of the fatties out there. The rest have some kind of medical condition and need specific care/diets.

It is hard for people who are overweight to lose weight, and it is hard for some people to not become overweight. We should keep that in mind: Controlling oneself is very hard, when one craves a lot of the unhealthy food. But having said that, I believe fat people should accept the reality and they shouldn't be offended if people describe them as fat. It isn't an insult; as others have pointed out, it's just like describing someone who has blonde hair or dark skin, isn't it?

I used to weigh 24 stone 4 months ago....I've lost 4.5 stone in around 4 months time...It's not difficult...Its about excuses.

My personal rule is to not make fun of people for things that they can't change. A mentally challenged person can't change that so don't make fun of them for being mentally challenged. This women are clearly healthy enough to waddle into a restaurant/casino which means they are still healthy enough to work off the weight. Make fun of them all you want because they are fat by choice. It is not like those kids you see on TV that are to the point of being so fat that medical help is the only solution. I have watched a coworker go from 415 to 250 over the course of 2 years. It wasn't an easy or short trip, but it's perfectly doable if you actually want to help yourself.

This restaurant should offer to pay for a years membership at a local gym or something to make up for what happened to them. Not only do the women get something free, but the restaurant is then helping them to never have that happen again. Problem solved.

And my rule is not to make fun of anyone, period. You make it seem like they woke up one day and decided to be fat. That's not how it works. It's the result of poor eating habits and a poor lifestyle. For most people, it's hard to change that. Yes, it's their fault for being fat... but I think they'd gladly lose the weight if it was easy. And we shouldn't assume that all overweight people are like that because of a series of unhealthy choices. Some people are fat for other reasons like a rare genetic disease or a condition that makes them gain weight rapidly.

Obviously they have no concern for their weight if they are going to order coke and fries at a restaurant. Gotta wonder how many big macs they had on the way home.

people these days are too ****ing sensitive

that, like, article was so, like, hard to, like, read! i mean, like, like!

Maybe the waiter could have described them as "stupid girls who overuse the word 'like'" === I hate the fact that so many - especially young - people use the word 'like' in this manner. I sat in front of a guy on a shuttle recently who must have used the word 30 times in a every 2 or 3 sentence exchange with his friend. Every thing is "I was like...." and "he was like..." and "then I was like..."

Where did this idiocy come from anyway?

The point is that in a professional setting (ie. a job) you behave like a professional and you don't "label" or otherwise taunt either fellow employees or customers, you do your job and you don't "ad lib". The guy was wrong and should be reprimanded/fired.

I don't know what a lot of you people posting here do for a living, but we are required to attend yearly classes on what is appropriate or not appropriate in the work place, as well as what denotes harassment/sexual harassment, and are actually tested on it. We also have to take classes on cultural differences (since we deal internationally).

I wish more people did this, it would smooth over SO many of the fights and misunderstandings I witness (both here as I work in a global company as well, and heh, on these very forums).

I'm not as rude as that, but if the waiter does a lot of things wrong, they get a good written tip.

Like this weekend at IHOP, I ordered what I wanted but asked, " Instead of the pancakes, can I just get 2 slices of bacon?" And was replied with a ,"Yes."

Well.... No bacon came. Then no refills came. Then the check took too long to come. All while the store was basically empty compared to how busy it normally is. So when it came time to write the tip, I put , " No Bacon, No Tip. "

Agreed! For the past 7 months, I have given up Rice, Beer, Potatos, Noodles and other wonderful food I ate every day. In return I feel better and weigh less than I have in a very long time. I don't see any reason to stop what i'm doing, and what i'm doing is low carb.

And it isn't a change that will happen quickly either. It's something you most likely wont really notice until almost a year into the cycle. People just don't have the willpower anymore to put that much effort into themselves it seems.

Nope, it originally took weeks and week before a change to come! Well, for walking anyway... low carb I was seeing results pretty fast.
