Surface RT screen issue

Hey all,

I picked up a brand new Surface RT for 350$ off Kijiji (WINNING!!)

Works perfectly except I noticed on the bottom left of the screen there is a slight orange smudge, and it discolours that portion of the screen (see pic)

Has anyone else run into this issue?

I haven't got anything like that on my Surface. Did the person you bought it from mention the issue? If not, are you able to return the device? Have you tried rebooting to see if it's just a software issue?

No I bought it brand new and sealed on the box, I tried rebooting, refreshing and completely reinstalling windows, looks like a hardware issue.

I registered my Surface on the Microsoft website and its under warranty so I guess I'll have to send it in.
