Matthew_Thepc
OK, if this is a joke, I'm sorry for ruining it :\ but if you think it's legit, let me just point out that this is in the OPs junk folder (as is evident by the "Looking for an email? If you don't find it here check your blocked senders list" message, the bit of an orange bar visible at the top of the message, and the fact that it's right next to a message with "real men please apply" in the subject line), so either someone (or yourself) is trying to trick you, or else the guys on the outlook team decided to mark all emails from Microsoft's CEO as junk for the LOLz. John S. Veteran Posted December 14, 2012 Veteran Share Posted December 14, 2012 Not his email addy...I doubt he'd misspell his own name. His credentials are publicly available... Mohitster
This is a spam email if your really got it....what do you call it? Spoofing? And obviously, even if you didn't notice the spelling mistake in his name, its content is ridiculous!

siah1214
This is Spoofing + Spam I got that, but I'd like to know who's sending it out and to whom? A quick search shows several different forum threads about it on various sites. Kind of odd.
zhangm Supervisor Posted December 14, 2012 Supervisor Share Posted December 14, 2012 Haven't ruled out the possibility that this is Steve Ballmer pretending to be someone pretending to be Steve Ballmer. Veiva, BajiRav and siah1214 3 Share

McKay
If that was really from Steve, why would he keep referring to Microsoft as "they" and not "we"?
The Evil Overlord
lol this is the first time I've seen spam mail get this kind of attention but it was just that, spam, too many mistakes (gammatical or otherwise) for it to be genuine

BeerFan
Anyone who got this email and even considered the slightest notion that it might even possibly be .01% legit should never ever ever be allowed to use a computer again.
