Goruck might be pricey but it worths the moment you realize it's a backpack that can last your entire life.

Not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes:
1.So as a follow up to this topic:

I though I should post some first impressions and a couple of brains droppings... ( Advancer covered the GR 1 with very nice photographs in the thread mentioned above).
Whilst randomnly browsing neowin for ... I came up with this thread:http://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1...ore/page__st__15__p__595041451#entry595041451
Sanctified mentioned how he likes Goruck gear and thus became my interest in goruck gear... Being it the standard nowadays, I googled the hell out of it and this led me to EDC forums (
http://edcforums.com...is-slick.99041/ ) looking for backpacks/rucksacks this slick. The only other one I found at least interesting was the "Kill spencer special ops", but way to expensive and way smaller than the GR1. TL;DR I was settled on the GR1
Anyway on the GR1. It's their quality stuff that gives American manufacturing the difference between those thousand of random factories all over the world (read nike, adidas, fila, jansport, dakine etc...). Goruck Gear is hands down a work of art, the amount of perfection in every sew is amazing, it feels like it could stand an apocalypse and then some!
But I digress, this isn't a review nor anything like it. Merely an attempt to show how on line communities close barriers unintentionally. I would've always used that old jansport backpack I had from my first university years, never would've thought of anything else, but thanks to neowin and Sanctified, I got to know, one of the best if not the best products that comes from the US of A!
-From a post of someone in Mexico, Neowin led me to google searches, which lead me to EDC.
-Shipped from Bozeman, Montana to Miami ( Courier/border shipping ) to Honduras, Central America.
The upper part of the photo is me trying to show the poly-urethane coating to water proof the GR1
The zippers and sewing are the stuff dreams are made of
Baring it all:
