Looks good to me.

You can't really save money without having it negatively affecting performance. You could drop the CPU down to 3550 and save ?20~, gpu to Nvidia 670 and again save ?20~, everything you have picked is the most "bang for buck".

All good.

Except

If you are not going to overclock, stick with the non-K version of 3570

If you are not going to add a second GPU, get a 600W PSU. Maybe a Seasonic or a Corsair one. Don't have much to share on XFX' quality. 750W is an overkill

8 GB of RAM is more than enough for almost all kinds of tasks

maybe with the motherboard:

im using

Asus P8Z77-V LX, Z77, LGA1155

the sabertooth asus costs quite a bit more (in my country). if you need it, good choice, if you dont, this saved me quite a bit.

plus u could check if u wanna buy a second hand graphics card. u could save quite a lot there imo.

Haha wow, nice rig - i agree almost completely.

Personally I would grab a lower-end GPU (that 7970 seems to be $450 on newegg)...i'd grab one about $300 or so...again, making sure its at a good price-performance point. Depends what you're playing tho - if you're doing Skyrim on steroids, you're going to need the 7970...

Id also grab a simpler mobo. I don't OC myself, so i dont need all that "thermal armor" and whatnot - id take a http://www.newegg.co...N82E16813128546

Maybe drop the case to something smaller? But a case is personal choice =)

TDLR: If you spend less, you'll get less - you haven't gone serious overkill with anything of note.

I'm going to OC ;) and the reason i'm getting the 7970 Ghz edition is because i'll get 6 games along with it.

Thanks for the fast answers guys!

P8Z77-V LK has a better layout so I suggest that or GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-D3H.

Don't get WD green get the red or black one or Seagate 7200.14

What is wrong with the WD Green if i may ask? I always hear that the Green one sucks and that i should get the red or black one.. but when i go and read reviews.. it doesnt matter which one i get?

So you should know in that case? The green spin 5,400 RPM vs ones that are 7,200 RPM for performance and green spin down when idle causing a delay to spin it up and wear on the motor vs one that spins all the time unless told to spin down.

But you can get green if you want.
