Maybe you have but I haven't I mentioned guns once. and that was grouped in with baseball bats,2x4's and knives.I was mentioning and implying early tools humans used. But you insist on trying to make you look like billy bad ass and you're taking on 5 3rd graders lol. Anyway the point is i'm not just talking about guns, i'm talking about any tool a human would use to defend, attack and hunt with because a human body isn't equipped well enough.

Yea ok, you seem very mature, 3rd graders, no, try 18+, the ones with no brain and lots to say, ...... hold on, how old are you ?

And no I was not insinuating I was a bad ass, I said I got my ass kicked, my point was they used weapons to do it

My age has nothing to do with this. I'm just trying to point out to you that the human brain overcame the short comings of the human body when it comes to attacking/defending/hunting.

You can be macho all you want but historically man has used tools to dispatch animals and humans and not their hands.

Macho? I'm trying to put across my point about weapons, not puff/poof out my chest and sing the Tarzan cry

You won't give you age, ok.

Let me ask you this then, If no-one else in the world owned a gun, or a knife, or any other weapon, would you still keep your guns ?

If yes, why
if no, why

If yes, and because of you owning guns, the rest of your neighbourhood > country > world started keeping them to protect themselves from you, how would you feel ?

And here you go trying to start a gun debate, if you want to debate me do it in the proper thread otherwise, do you or do you not agree that early humans used their brain to create tools to overcome their shortcomings as far as hunting and defense and attacking goes.

Yes I do agree, although I don't agree that is what our discussion was about (our being me and you)

Yes, primitive humans used their brain to learn how to protect, fight, hunt, and when it came to things they could not do with their hands, they built weapons

I have no trouble agreeing with that at all

That's all i've been trying to say. When we look at it historically it was more the brain than the hand, because the story says the human hand maybe designed for fighting but history shows early humans used tools more than fists so I doubt their theory.

I'd say its pretty much 33/33/33 (.3333333 etc) today for who uses their brain vs their hand vs their weapons

I know until recently, I would be more inclined to win an argument with my hands if arguing didn't work, I couldn't back down if I was sure I was in the right, now I have matured enough to be able to walk away no matter who is right

Not easy, but that is using the evolved brain we have been given, as you said
