Your main mobile operating system for 2013

Recommended Posts

Which mobile operating system(s) do you see yourself using in 2013?

For me it's going to be Android on the Nexus 7 and a Nexus 4 which is currently in the hands of DHL and hopefully makes it here by Monday.

Android from top to bottom, haven't ever used anything before that is this customizable. Custom ROMS and tweaking is great fun :D

Grabbing another Lumia once my contract expires, been working great for my phone. As far as tablets go, I'm pretty much done with Android; bring on the Surface Pro.

WP7.8 for my phone

JellyBean for my tablet

Would hate Android for an every day phone OS though, fun to play with but about as stable as Manson on crack

Hm? It runs perfectly stable on my Nexus 4.

Hm? It runs perfectly stable on my Nexus 4.

I've had my TF101 for about a year and a half and I have only just found a ROM that doesn't reboot on its own, or freeze and crash when it is in sleep mode

Literally just found a stable ROM and the devs at XDA had to make it, ASUS failed from Jan 2012 when they went ICS and the entire year their updates did nothing but make things worse

Maybe just a bad experience but as they say, once bitten...

iOS 6 now - used to be Android and before that, Blackberry.

1800th post, btw.

so far this year, and most likely until the next update, Android 4.2.1 (CyanogenMod 10.1)

Having a dumbphone and feeling no real need to "upgrayyed".

As for tablet, that is something I'd like to play with, but only with an actual work-centric OS instead of a gimmick. Windows 8 counts, because it can be "fixed". Though such tablets are superexpensive, so I won't bother unless I win a lottery or something.

WP8. Unless some new mobile OS comes out that's better then Windows Phone its gonna be WP for the long haul.

Android for me on both. Thanks to Nexus 4 and 7. Very happy with my 3rd Android phone. Tried Apple once as my first smartphone it was a 3g I think. Never again. Android has so much customization which I love. Android just gets better and better in my own opinion. Super smooth.
