Hum
Christmas 2012 will not only feature heavy snow from Winter Storm Euclid. Severe thunderstorms and tornadoes will target parts of the South Christmas Day into Wednesday. Tuesday: Severe weather outbreak may begin before sunrise Christmas morning in east and southeast Texas into Louisiana. The severe storm threat spreads east, taking in the lower Mississippi Valley eastward into Alabama and the western Florida Panhandle by afternoon. Tornadoes, damaging winds of 60 to 80 mph, and large hail are all threats in these areas! Some tornadoes may be strong, long-track tornadoes, as well. Tuesday night: A squall line is expected to push east across Alabama, Georgia, and the Florida Panhandle during the night with high winds and at least a few rain-wrapped tornadoes possible. This includes Birmingham and Atlanta. Wednesday: Severe thunderstorms, either from a continuing squall line or new development, will remain a threat ahead of the surging cold front from Virginia and the Carolinas to eastern Georgia and northern and central Florida. Damaging straight-line winds and a few tornadoes are possible. Some tornadoes in the east, central N.C. and S.C. may be strong. source

DocM
Should see a snownado during severe winter storms up here - usually only EF0 or EF1, but still.
