Crisp
Just out of question, is a Mini Display Port the same as a Thunder Bolt port? I'm asking because I'm wanting to do a dual monitor set-up at home, using the Mini Display Ports on my graphics card, but apon searching eBay for a cable it just returns Apple's Thunder Bolt cables, and they're all white, 'urgh. :/
SMELTN
Yes. They are the same thing. I have a 2012 Macbook Pro and wondered the same thing at first. Figured it out. Also found out that the Audio Out port also is a dual Audio In/Out port as well. Was asking at the Apple store how I could plug my guitar into the Macbook to use Garage Band. He told me just get the adapter that goes from 3.5 down to the 1.5mm and the port auto changes to Input instead of Output. Really nice

Aergan
I tried finding a black one for a reasonable price on eBay. I gave up and stuck with HDMI. Crisp 1 Share
Crisp
I tried finding a black one for a reasonable price on eBay. I gave up and stuck with HDMI. My problem is that my graphics card has only 1 HDMI, 2 DVI and 2 Mini DP. Guess I'll have to put up with white :/

Aergan
Saw that Startech do a black converter but requires a HDMI cable: Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Video Adapter Converter http://www.amazon.co...r/dp/B00310EEO4 Edit: Apparently only HDMI 1.0, that wouldn't work for me but your mileage may vary.
