If you read a certain post of mine, you would know why it matters to me. I'm just trying to understand.

I read that post, I just decided not to comment on the thread because you were spot on in your reply to your daughter. There are good and bad people, but their sexual preference isn't what makes them good or bad. And so again I ask, why does it matter what people categorise homosexuality as? Why can't people just accept that it exists and move on with their lives?

There's a lot of things that current science cannot explain. A lot of things regarding human body.

Maybe you can pass this question to your daughter and she maybe interested in researching it and contribute to the field?

I could. But won't. I accept her for how she is and not for the why. I just wanted to know for myself.

Then you may have to accept you won't be able to find the answer within your lifetime.

Agreed on that. I guess it just happens. Who knows.

So, he is using bestiality to "cure" gay? Pretty sure those are in the same paragraph in the bible of things not to do (Leviticus 18), and only one is illegal. See, now, this is irony.

What kind of stroking are they talking here? What I got from the article was the very wrong, bestiality-of-sorts kind, which wouldn't surprise me since the guy is off his rocker and a moron anyway.

No one said he encourages having sex with animals. Animal therapy is a valid modality.

Ok. But if it's not a choice and it's not a mental disorder, a disease, or a gene. Then what is it? I would really like to know the answer to this. I mean first we were told by the gay community it was one thing, then we were told something else, then we were told it's a choice. Now I just don't get it. So what exactly is it?

I think..ultimately...what it is....is none of your damn business.

(not directed to you specifically, but why do we need to call it anything other than love between two human beings? As for my position on Gay Marriage: I think Marriage is a religious institution and being such has no place in government at all. I realize that would take a lot to adjust to from where we are now, but it is ridiculous the more and more I think about it. But with marriage being what it is, I don't see why we shouldn't recognize same-sex-unions when it comes to next-of-kin type decisions. If I were single with no family and wanted to name my neighbor next-of-kin I should be able to w/o marriage being involved...its stupid)
