There is a paid app that lets you lock specific apps, has a 7 day trial too (And if you clear the apps cache etc, it resets the 7 days... shhh)

Landscape as it's more natural. Our vision has a wider field of view than it does vertically.

I have a Nexus 7. The way I hold it depends on the activity - mostly portrait though.

Depends on the activity. Most things I'll do in landscape. Reading books are the exception.. PDF's I'll do landscape, ePUB's in portrait.

I don't own a tablet but I use several at work and I only ever hold them landscape if I'm watching a video or playing a game. Everything else is portrait.

Same with my phone.

Usually landscape for my touchpad, though that may be because of the way the case is designed

I own a Nexus7, generally used in portrait unless watching videos where i will naturally use landscape :)
