Homeowner evicted due to past due homeowners association fees

You forgot the main part-

Pay what we say when we say...or we take legal action(kind of sounds like something a strong arm would say)...even though some people like to keep up their own lawns as well as paint their homes the colors they wish.

well, yea.... he agreed to pay what they say when they say, exactly what argument are you trying to make? He agreed to exactly what you just said, on his own. If he didn't like the rules he didn't have to buy the house, its pretty simple.

According to the reports..The part that is not mentioned in this link.

When the guy originally moved into the neighborhood there was no HOA but when he defaulted on his loan and then bought it out of foreclosure. He now found himself under the new rules of the neighborhood though he never signed paperwork . Which is why he ignored their request for payment.

The rules were not in place when he bought the house 15 years ago but in 2009 retired and got behind on his payments for his mortgage and refinanced. Which got his house out of foreclosure but in the mean time there was a HOA established. He claims he never signed the paperwork for the HOA.

Condo Assocation here wants to raise our Assocation Dues here and pay special assessment for over due water bill, that they were suppose to pay...current bill over 26,000 and just keeps growing so far, Sprinkler bill for 3 months in the summer, 8,000. So they had a meeting other night, and with NOT all Condo CO Owners there--they voted, and was gonna submit plan to City to try and charge us 800 Dollars more a month to cover the water bill.

So living in an HOA is not that great, especially when on a fixed Income

Sounds like this HOA is where the next mass shooting needs to take place. Preferably sooner rather than later.

I went shopping for a new home last summer. Anyone care to guess what the very first requirement I gave to the real estate agent when looking for listings?

I did the same thing 4 years ago. Screw hoa's.
