Is it possible to configure iTunes not to automatically start downloading any tv shows or movies I buy via my Apple TV?

I thought that too, seems to only be options to enable auto-downloading of apps, music and books. Also an option to check for available downloads.

I've unchecked all of them yet when I open iTunes up it's trying to download all the seasons of the tv shows I bought over Christmas.

Seems like I figured out why it was continuing to try and download even after turning off the option in the settings.

There was a plist file in the downloads folder which had all the files to be downloaded, I deleted that and after restarting iTunes it's no longer trying to download the shows.

Now all that remains to be seen is the next time I purchase something whether iTunes will decide to download it or not.
