I noticed my DIR-655 seems REALLY SLOW when using the USB port it has on it. I have connected my MX310 all in one printer scanner fax to the USB port on my router, but even printing seems painfully slow using that port. Are there any routers that have faster USB ports? Does anyone know of any router comparisons or tests that compare USB port speeds on routers?

I have a Linksys Cisco WRT160NL running DD-WRT and I get my max 100Mb/s to the USB HDD attached to it, no idea if it would transfer any faster as I don't have any way to test it atm

What I did notice though, FAT32 and NTFS drives were painfully slow, so I formatted to EXT3 or 4 (I forget now) and its WAY better now
