Well, 2 days is kind of retarded..

Also, one wonders what happened to her friend.. Poor bugger is still sitting at the train station.

Either way, this women needs to be chemically neutered >.>

Sabine Moreau, a 67-year-old Belgian woman, drove 900 miles over two days, thanks to a GPS that should have taken her on a journey less than 100 miles.

This woman sounds like one of those people who would drive into a lake if their sat nav told them to.

Common sense?
Rule 1: NEVER Blindly follow a gadget.
Or do what I do, and keep a map handy, if in doubt, a backup atlas map, (considerably cheaper) is always good in case of a mis-programmed or faulty gadget.

When I first heard this story (on the radio, they were taking the mickey), it was a 45 kilometer drive to the train station that should have taken about an hour, and she ended up driving 1200 km (745 miles)...

before I even ever set out I first double check the route summary on my gps. Whta kind of person would just drive and drive if you know the rail station is not far.
