Target: This so-called Muslim Patrol take the alcohol from this man and filmed it for a YouTube propaganda video

Police are investigating reports a gang claiming to be Islamic vigilantes have been confronting members of the public and demanding they give up alcohol and women cover their flesh in their 'Muslim area'.

The hooded men, who call themselves Muslim Patrol, have been filmed walking London's streets and calling white women 'naked animals with no self respect.'

The group is also shown taking 'evil' booze from revellers and film a cyclist being treated after a road accident, claiming they were injured because they were unclean.

In one exchange a member of the group says: 'We don't care if you are appalled at all', before calling themselves 'vigilantes implementing Islam upon your own necks'.

They have uploaded videos to their YouTube channel with the most recent three-minute clip causing a stir online.

'The Truth About Saturday Night', which was uploaded on Sunday, has already been viewed more than 42,000 times.

Scotland Yard says it is investigating.

It was shot on a mobile phone at night in what the Met say is Waltham Forest, London, with a number of men seen shouting 'this is a Muslim area' towards white Britons they've confronted.

The video, which first appeared on The Commentator, states: 'From women walking the street dressed like complete naked animals with no self respect, to drunk people carrying alcohol, to drunks being killed in the middle of the road, we try our best to capture and forbid it all.'

One scene shows the hooded yobs forcing a passing man to put a can of lager away, telling the stunned gentleman they are the Muslim Patrol and that alcohol is a 'forbidden evil'.

They then tell a group of women 'they need to forbid themselves from dressing like this and exposing themselves outside the mosque'.

Want: The group tell people to leave their area of London because it is Muslim in their controversial film posted on Sunday

On another occasion, a woman takes offence to their requests and tells them they are in Great Britain at which point they respond by saying 'they don't respect those who disobey God'.

Mohammed Shafiq, the chief executive of the Ramadhan Foundation, a Muslim organisation which campaigns for a peaceful co-existence among communities, has condemned the group's behaviour.

He said: 'We live in the UK and we are governed by UK law, there should be no mob rule. If people are involved in this behaviour then it is worrying but it is an isolated incident.'

If they tried taking my beer away from me I'd probably throw it all over them and accuse them of living a boring life. I wouldn't believe it, but if they're judging my life decisions and trying to influence me by taking my beer away, then I will judge them for theirs and respond by trying to influence them in to drinking a beer. Or wearing it, as the case may be.

I respect their belief even if I don't agree with it and I leave them to it. They should do the same.

I agree with you completely, but... If you DID do that, these animals would be very likely to hurt you.

Hopefully, the cops will quickly catch and arrest these scumbags.

UK is a free country, feel free to leave it and go somewhere that upholds your beleifs

i think its people going into Muslim areas and behaving drunk/lewd etc... So what they are doing isnt wrong trying to protect innocent people.

if thats what they are doing then they are doing it wrong, they are abrupt and threatening. All streets are public and you can't just be ushered away like that

We shouldn't even have these segregated areas for different religions. It's like a Ghetto... shouldn't be there! We should all be living together, not seperate our selves through religion. If people left themselves to themselves we wouldn't be dealing with this Bullsh*t.

I just love it when people move to your country then try force their beliefs on others.

They need to **** right off.

Guess this is what the english and spanish conquistadors did long ago with native americans. And you live in one of those countries. No offense.

"If people are involved in this behaviour then it is worrying but it is an isolated incident."

No, it is not. This **** is happening all over Europe, not just the UK.

All kinds of fanatic Islamic groups are trying to push their distorted view of the world onto a large group of people who lived without that nonsence for hundreds of years....

If you don't like it somewhere, why don't you move back, or to a place where you can happily worship the 'god' you were forced upon by birth?

Don't try to force your believes to the majority who doens't want to hear all this crap.

"i think its people going into Muslim areas"

It's London, and as far as I know BRITISH......................................................

There are no <enter religion> areas. There may be an area where you find an increased number of a certain religious or ethnic group but that's it. One of the lovely things about London is the fact that it's an ethnic/cultural melting pot :)

Seeing as this story comes from the daily mail i'll take it with a pinch of salt (for those of you from outside the UK: the daily mail has a habit of being a bit OTT and right wing and going for sensationalist headlines, for a better explanations please watch this song:

)

If this is actually happening then they can well and truly F@@k off :)

I have absolutely no problems with religious people or religion, but pushing your beliefs on to others is just retarded. Law > religion.

I won't be surprised if they keep this up, if they find themselves up against a group of quite happily drunk men or women that slap them silly.

Australia is getting the same. Its a damn joke. We don't say anything because it's being racist if we did... What a crock.

I can tell you now if they walked up to me and told me to put my beer away id have no problem knocking them all out. Or at least go down trying.

There are alcohol free zones all around the place in the UK. The police can warn or fine you for drinking alcohol on the street (mainly at night due to noise). However them asking women to cover up is harrasment and bigoted and them taking the law into their own hands with the alcohol is harassment.

It's a Daily Mail article - that tells you all you need to know about how authentic it is.

If it were JUST the Daily Fail, I'd agree with you. Unfortunately, it's not. It's being reported in a few places, and their youtube page DOES exist. :/

It may be a Daily Mail article, but it doesn't hide the fact that this stuff is happening all over the globe atm.

So be it and call me a racist, if I tell you to get the f**k out when trying to do that s**t in my face.

Sorry to say this, but it's 100% true and accurate.

How do i know this? Because i'm from Waltham Forest and have witnessed this behavior and even been a victim of it.

i think its people going into Muslim areas and behaving drunk/lewd etc... So what they are doing isnt wrong trying to protect innocent people.

There are no 'Muslim Areas' in Waltham Forest. There are areas where Muslims congregate but these are also areas where their are plenty of there racial and religious groups. It's no one groups right to try and take control and this needs to be stopped right now.

Now i remember why i move 500 miles away.

I don't care who you are, where you're from or what you believe - if you try and indoctrinate me, pester, convert or just generally hound me for whatever reason you are wasting your time, and I will tear you a new one; proverbially or physically.

Believe whatever you want, I'm really not arsed - I have my own philosophy on life and existence, I don't need yours... and to be fair, I probably know more about the ideals and philosophies of your chosen belief/religion than you do.

Anyone that thinks they DO live in a "muslim area", and want it that way, can sod off back to the bleedin' desert.

Edited by Calum
This post originally began with "^To add to that," but I have edited that out because the post above that referred to the "Muslim area" was removed.
