Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will have a 6.3 Inch Screen

The iPhone 5 is a fine piece of hardware, no doubt, but the fact is the Note 2 can do more.

1. Micro SD card slot

2. Very long lasting and exchangeable battery

3. Very customizable UI

4. Much better multitasking

5. Multiview Screen

Five things that may not be important to some, but are very important to others when buying a phone.

1. That will only be a factor for most people if the internal storage isn't enough. I'm using less than half of the storage on my 64GB iPhone. It wouldn't hurt to have the option though.

2. iPhone lasts a day; any more than that makes no difference to me as I charge overnight. Nobody is going to complain about a longer lasting battery though.

3. Had three Android phones. Eventually I got bored of customising it. I find I use my iPhone more for actual stuff (playing games, watching videos, talking to people) than customising. This isn't a negative for Android, I just think I needed a change. :p

4. Debatable. I never find iOS multitasking lacking and it's much better for battery life. Push notifications are a much better system than just letting apps run amok in the background. Wakelocks are a major problem on Android for a lot of people. I was a guide on a popular Android website and helped hundreds of people with wakelock problems.

5. Cool feature, but not sure how useful it will be on such a small screen. I haven't used it though so I won't comment on whether it's good or not :p

They're both excellent devices in their own right... I loved the S3 so I would love the Note 2 too, I'm sure. Just fancied a change!

I watched the Note 2 announcement. The S Pen features are very cool.

I'm just thinking... do I really need to multitask that much on my phone? It's usually a bit of gaming, listening to music, browsing the web/forums, texting, taking pics, that kind of thing.

I have a phone, tablet and desktop PC for varying levels of complexity. I never need to do anything complex when I'm out and about, and when I'm at home I can just use one of the other two.

Have you ever used one? Have you ever held one in your hand and actually use it? If you haven't, try it. Believe me, as a former iPhone user, once you hold a Note 2 on your hands and use it, you will never want another smaller phone again.

Yes I have. I do not like it at all. Too big for me, but I don't have sausage fingers either. I like the size of the iphone 5 (the width). Even the S3 which I do love but it too big and not what i like in a smart phone in size.

That is a valid point. Almost no one.

Majority of people I know and see walking around still put their phone to their ear.

I've never used a bluetooth ear piece or buds to talk on the phone.

Maybe if you don't like it, just don't buy it. Easy.

Who has their phone to their ear anymore? Most people, I think, use bluetooth or buds.

What? Maybe In 'Murica the majority of people walk around looking like douche bags with their bluetooth, certainly where I come from, people use their phones properly.

you mean from home? on a curled cord?

"properly" is only a sign of the times. Google glasses and other such products like it will change the way you "properly" use your phone when they come to market.

Sorry. I'll rephrase.

Where I come from, people don't walk around looking like ******s.

i agree, it does look silly, was just bugging. If they made it smallish enough to be almost non-visable, i think i would actually use one.
