EFI partition size grows by 48x after cloning...

Recommended Posts

After recently receiving a Dell 660, I cloned the drive to an SSD drive via EaseUS Partition Manager. Before the EFI partition was 500 MB, now it's 24.96 GB. I've also forgotten if the WINRETOOLS partition is suppose to be 27 GB.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I know that it's GPT now, but I've forgotten if it was GPT before.

I used a live cd of gparted and reduced the partition sizes, moving the excess from one partition to another to finally the desired main partition. I had to copy one of the partitions since gparted didn't recognize it in order to move the excess all the way.
